About Tanya
I am a homeschool mom of 4 and I have been teaching my children for 16 years in both French and English. I have experience teaching children with dyslexia. My secular experience in an elementary school was teaching ESL and French. Originally from Quebec, I am francophone.

In my experience, learning has to be fun. Taking in consideration the students interests, it motivates them not to give up and enjoy what they are learning. If one way doesn't work, I change it up and try explaining it a different way. In the end, the important thing and my reward is seeing those light-bulb moments in their eyes.
