My approach as a tutor is to empower others to read by teaching the concept of phonics and using pictures to introduce word association.
A typical lesson plan entails reading something outloud, like an engaging poem, picture book, or short passage. Reading aloud lowers the student's stress level. It also models excellent reading skills and motivates them to succeed.
