About Samhitha
Hi! I’m Samhitha, a current Medicine student at Bond University. I completed my schooling in New Zealand and am familiar with the NCEA curriculum and assessment system, as well as what students need to do to succeed.
I am based in Wellington and primarily offer online tutoring sessions. Lessons are interactive and structured using shared documents, slides, live feedback, and plenty of discussion to keep things clear and engaging.
I tutor NCEA Mathematics, English, Chemistry, and Biology, helping students build confidence, strengthen understanding, and improve results.
My approach is simple: I focus on breaking things down clearly, building strong foundations, and helping students learn how to study effectively. I believe consistency and good habits make the biggest difference.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s catching up, improving confidence, or aiming for Excellence.
The first lesson is a chance to get started properly. We go over goals, identify strengths and gaps, and create a clear plan moving forward.
I aim to keep lessons supportive and relaxed, where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and actually improving step by step.

My tutoring approach is focused on building both understanding and confidence. I aim to make complex concepts feel simple by breaking them down step-by-step and using clear explanations, examples, and guided practice. I also encourage students to ask questions freely.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs. I typically begin by identifying areas of difficulty, revising key concepts where needed, and then working through lots of practice questions and past exams together to strengthen understanding and exam technique. I also place a strong focus on helping students develop effective study habits and consistency over time, not just short-term improvement.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and workload.
I am currently a university student studying Medicine at Bond University and completed my schooling in New Zealand, giving me a strong understanding of the NCEA curriculum and assessment system. I have experience supporting students in a range of subjects and levels through personalised tutoring.
My lessons are suitable for students in year 9 - year 13.
I offer tutoring for:

Mathematics: Year 9–Year 11
Chemistry: NCEA Level 1–3
