About Libby
I like to help students reach their full potentials. I see many students failed by their school and teachers due to classes being large and not catering for individual needs. I know what it's like to try so hard and still not grasp the concepts others find so easily. My own study and previous experience help me to explain concepts in a way you can understand. I myself have ADHD and I know that others who also have it understand and digest information differently than most. I can help to explain concepts in a way that both neurotypical and diverse students can understand.

I have 2 years of tutoring experience, helping my peers to study and revise for end-of-year exams for NCEA levels 2 and 3. I have helped many of my peers understand complex theories by explaining the ideas in many ways that they can understand and doing the questions with them to show them how to work an equation. I find that helping to explain how to get to the answer and demonstrating a similar question can help students to reach the answer and understand what they are doing. The students I tutored last year reached excellence and merit levels in chemistry and physics.
