About Lauren

My name is Lauren, and I've spent my entire 27 years living in the heart of beautiful North Wales - and luckily, in the most Welsh county!

Welsh is a dying language, with only approximately 17.5% of the population who are able to speak the language. It's difficult, but what language isn't?

I'm here to raise confidence in those who are aiming to speak and understand the language. I've worked on cruise ships around America, where I also provided Welsh languages as a crew activity, to educate fellow international crew about the lgnauage, how it sounds, basic rules etc!

About the lesson

Welsh has a reputation for being a very difficult language, and I agree! That's why I'm here to strengthen your welsh vocabulary, conversation skills (casual and formal) and pronunciation, helping you sound like a native speaker.

30-90 minute lesson duration of conversation, book reading, translation.. Whatever it is you'd need from a native speaker!

My lessons are best for those who have a basic understanding of the language, but I can also assist absolute beginners with the Welsh alphabet and basic grammar rules.

Lauren is an amaaazing teacher! She helped improving my welsh in a very dinamic and fast way! She helped me translating welsh songs that I love and now I have a great time listening to them and actually being able to understand what they are saying!!
