About Amanda
- I was born in Thailand and am a native speaker of the language
- I am in my second year of my physics degree at Imperial College London
- I achieved 11 GCSEs (eight grade 9 inc. Spanish, one grade 8, one A*, and one A; more detail can be given on request) so I'm very much familiar with the new style of exams, having recently sat them.
- I achieved 4A*s at A-Level (physics, maths, chemistry, and further maths with an A in AS-level Spanish)
- I have had experience tutoring an AS-level student who went from high Bs and low As to solid A*s in their class
- I have supported a GCSE maths student for two years during their studies and helped to consolidate knowledge taught in schools and hone their exam technique
- I am currently tutoring a student doing their GCSEs in one year and have helped them to apply their knowledge to exam-style questions

I mainly teach speaking/listening, basic conversational Thai. I use Google Meet to communicate and screen mirror my writing on OneNote as a visual aid to my teaching.
I have had experience in teaching Thai for 2 years, getting the student competent in both speaking and listening.

Amanda has been a pleasure to work with - she is enthusiastic, organised and very competent in all she does.
