About Victoria

I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over 12 years now both face to face and online. I have taught adults and children at every level and I have had the privilege of teaching students from Portugal and all around the world. I am passionate and dedicated teacher with an ability to create rapport with students of all ages.

About the lesson

. I adopted a range of teaching methodologies in my lessons but my primary focus is on communication. Based on the idea that language learning successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning, students are encouraged to use their natural strategies for language acquisition. For example, Lets take an interesting topic and work from there. we may practice our terms by asking each other for real information that would involve meaningful communication. Likewise, classroom activities are characterized by trying to produce meaningful and real communication, at all levels. As a result there may be more emphasis on skills and lessons are more learner-centered. I use the range of materials in the classroom, some are designed for language learners and others are authentic.

Perfect! A Victoria é a melhor professora de inglês por inúmeras razões:
- explica a matéria de forma muito explícita;
- a metodologia é cativante;
- desafia-me constantemente (o que me motiva ainda mais).
Para além das qualidades relacionadas com o ensino, a Victória tem muito boas características pessoais, o que me deixa à vontade para expor as minhas questões, partilhar experiências, etc.
Desde a primeira aula que penso que teria sido ainda melhor se a tivesse encontrado mais cedo!
