About Graciela

I am a tutor of Spanish, I am from Peru, my first language is Spanish, and I speak English fluently. I consider myself a cheerful, fun person with a positive personality and good communication skills.
I got several tutoring assignments at Wall Street English Institute in my country Peru, teaching basic English to Peruvian people who needed to learn English to get better opportunities in their careers or their jobs.
Once I came to live in The United States, I was invited to be part of a Book Club, in La Paz Chattanooga, where native people of English language participate to discuss the book they choose to read in this group so, I was helping them in the better understanding on words they could not understand the meaning, and this is when I put all my knowledge gotten in my previous job teaching English, but this time teaching Spanish.

About the lesson

I got several tutoring assignments at Wall Street English Institute in my country Peru, teaching basic English to Peruvian people.
The method I used to teach it was to teach English by following the natural way of learning a language. We teach English using ‘natural language acquisition’ – the same way you learned your first language. We focus on listening and speaking first and reading and writing come later. I offered many opportunities to practice English in real-life contexts which helps you to achieve a deeper understanding of the language and teaches you how to use it in everyday situations. And you can use this method to teach either language

My rate is the same for any level of Spanish that the student has, cancellations 24 hours in advance, if the student did not cancel the class in advance; the same will apply the charge for the class.
