About Ana

Hello! My name is Ana, and I’m a native Spanish speaker with a passion for languages and teaching. I hold a degree in English and an MSc in Translation, and I’ve spent several years helping students of all levels master the Spanish language. I believe that learning a language opens doors to new cultures, opportunities, and perspectives, and I am excited to guide you on this journey.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your Spanish for academic or professional purposes, I will create lessons that suit your needs and help you achieve your language goals.

I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your full potential in Spanish!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring focuses on personalized, student-centered learning. I tailor each lesson to the student’s unique needs, goals, and learning style. I use a communicative teaching methodology that emphasizes real-world language use, combining grammar and vocabulary instruction with practical conversation exercises. I believe in creating a supportive, engaging environment that encourages active participation and confidence in speaking.

Typically, my lessons last 60 minutes, but I offer flexibility depending on the student's preferences or learning pace. During this time, we focus on a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, using authentic Spanish materials like articles, videos, and dialogues to immerse students in the language. I also incorporate structured grammar exercises and feedback sessions to ensure steady progress.

I hold a graduate degree in English and an MSc in Translation, along with several years of teaching experience. As a native Spanish speaker with extensive academic background and fluency in English, I can explain complex concepts clearly and help students overcome challenges in both languages. My lessons are suitable for all levels (beginner to advanced) and are open to students of all ages, whether you're a complete beginner, looking to improve your Spanish for travel, or preparing for academic or professional goals.

My goal is to help students gain fluency and confidence in a way that is enjoyable and effective!
