My personalised Spanish lessons follow a clear and effective structure, adapted to your level (A1–C2) and goals. Each lesson typically includes:

Targeted vocabulary and grammar focus – We first introduce and break down the key topic of the lesson with clear explanations and structured notes.

Guided practice exercises – You’ll complete practical exercises to consolidate what you've learned.

Conversation practice – We finish with speaking activities to actively use the new vocabulary and grammar in real contexts.

Cultural content– In some lessons, we include readings about Spanish culture, traditions, or current topics to expand both language and cultural understanding.

I provide structured grammar and vocabulary sheets for each level, as well as exercise packs with full corrections. Homework is optional and personalised. If you prefer a more intensive approach, I can provide additional exercises and revision materials between lessons.

  • 1) Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

I speak Spanish natively because I am from Madrid, Spain. I also speak English fluently — my mother is British, and I have been living in the UK for the past three years. Being bilingual has given me a real appreciation of how languages shape the way we communicate and connect.
  • 2) Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

For me, a very emblematic representative of Spanish culture today is Rosalía. She has managed to bring traditional Spanish music, especially flamenco, into a modern, global context while keeping its emotional depth and cultural roots. Her creativity and international success show how Spanish culture is both proud of its traditions and open to innovation.
  • 3) Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

One of my favourite Spanish words is sobremesa. It refers to the time spent sitting at the table after a meal, talking and enjoying each other’s company. I love it because it shows how Spanish culture values connection, conversation, and taking time to share moments together — not just rushing through meals.
  • 4) Why does speaking this language matter to you?

Spanish is my native language, so it is deeply tied to my identity, culture, and family. At the same time, it is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. Sharing it with my students allows me to help them access new cultures, opportunities, and ways of thinking.
  • 5) What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

One of the biggest challenges is mastering verb conjugations, especially the different tenses and irregular verbs. What helps most is consistent practice in real conversations — using the language naturally, rather than only memorising rules. That’s why I design my lessons around interaction and context.
  • 6) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

One of the highlights of my teaching career has been helping several of my university students achieve a First in their Spanish degree. Supporting them with exam preparation, refining their grammar, and building their confidence in speaking was incredibly rewarding. Seeing their hard work pay off and knowing I played a part in their success is one of the reasons I’m so passionate about teaching.
  • 7) How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

Living in Montreal was a key moment for me because it gave me the chance to learn and practise French every day. Immersing myself in another language community helped me understand the challenges that my students face when they are learning Spanish. It also showed me how powerful travel and cultural immersion can be for making real progress in a language.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof in language?

With over six years of experience, I’ve helped students of all levels — from complete beginners to university students preparing for their finals — reach fluency and confidence in Spanish. I combine a structured approach with flexibility: each student receives a tailored plan with flashcards, homework, and carefully prepared materials to support steady progress. My bilingual background also means I can explain difficult grammar points clearly in both Spanish and English. What makes me a Superprof is not only my experience, but also the dedication I put into creating lessons that are effective, engaging, and motivating.
