About Anna

I grew up in Spain, daughter to Swedes. It wasn't easy always being the girl that never belonged - HOWEVER, it did allow me to learn so much about both cultures and now I want to share that with the world - and what better way than through teaching the languages that made me who I am!

About the lesson

I teach using the same methods that were used to teach me: stories, conversation, and culture — through books, films, and TV shows to make Spanish fun and memorable. Whether you want to learn how to write an essay or a love letter, or whether you just want to know enough to get by whilst you move into your first place by the beach in Spain or South America – I'll cater and specialise the class to you and what you need and want to get out of the lessons. We'll mix vocabulary, listening, and speaking practice, helping you learn naturally while exploring Spanish-speaking culture. Learning doesn't have to be stuffy and boring; with a little thought and care it can be made fun, and I'll have you speaking Spanish before you've even realised you're doing it. My goal is to help you feel confident expressing yourself, not just memorising grammar rules. I bring patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to every class, and I love seeing students discover how language opens doors to new places, friendships, and experiences. Each lesson is designed to fit your pace and personality, ensuring steady progress while keeping things lively, motivating, and deeply connected to real-life communication.
