About Carla

Hi everyone ! I understand learning a new language can be challenging and time-consuming, but once you pass that point when you are able to communicate in that new language, it can be so satisfying, and so useful. I had the luck to learn two different languages from my parents since I was a child, and it has opened lots of doors for me. I wish to make that happen for anyone who is interested in learning spanish. I am also really motivated as an undergrad student and I would like to pass on my motivation to other !

About the lesson

I think the best way to learn a language is practicing ! Therefore, I support the practice of speaking but also gaining vocabulary by reading some texts/books from spanish authors. Also, today, spanish music is very popular so it can be another way of get familiar with the language. The lessons can be adapted to any level, and for any use (school homework, as a hobby, for work...). I try to divide the lessons into different parts, such as grammar, literature, while trying to prioritize speaking and listening... I think in order to keep the lesson interesting and motivating while still effective it should last between 1 and 2 hours maximum. I have thought in the past about other subjects such as Mathematics and French Literature at my school for my peers. I graduated last term from the Lycée Français of Madrid as a native. I am really looking forward to teaching my language (which can be very fun and useful) and showing my culture through the lessons !
