With a little over 2 years of teaching experience with ages 5-18, I have found ways to customize lessons based on each person's needs and goals. Each lesson will be different based on your level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I offer 30 min to 1 hr lessons. Start with warm-up / review - Short conversation in Spanish (Tell me about your day? Did you see or hear anything in Spanish yesterday?) - Review of last lesson - Fun icebreaker (trivia, short game) Introduction of today's lesson - Vocabulary / grammar - Culture Guided Practice (self-practice for advanced or intermediate with review) - Worksheet - Speed round of vocabulary - Role-play (ordering at restaurant, introducing yourself, etc.) Communication Practice - Conversation game (would you rather, 20 questions, etc.) - Storytelling, give me directions on how to do something - Personalized practice (depending on your field of work, if you are a student, or any hobbies) Wrap-up & Homework - Summary of lesson - Tell me what you learned - Homework (journal entry, audio recording, or vocab)
