About Edson
I was raised in Mexico and am a native Spanish speaker. I ran the Spanish language program at a nonprofit organization in New York for over three years, working with students of all levels. I’m a bit of a language nerd—I also speak Italian, French, and Japanese—which helps me understand what it feels like to learn a new language from scratch. I hold an MBA from UC Berkeley, which shapes my structured, goal-oriented approach, but my real passion has always been languages. I’m patient, approachable, and focused on helping students feel comfortable and confident speaking Spanish.
