About Ainhoa

Hello! I am Ainhoa, an NYU student from Peru. I am a native Spanish speaker and an experienced tutor. Aside from Spanish being my mother tongue, I have studied the language at an advanced formal level in the International Baccalaureate program. I love languages and am passionate about helping others. I will do my best to share this passion and help you succeed! **During Covid-19, all lessons will be conducted virtually via Zoom**

About the lesson

During the first few lessons and while getting to know my students, I learn about the student's main goals, prior knowledge and abilities to see where help is needed and start from there.

In my experience, when learning a language, it is crucial to engage with it as much as possible. I speak in Spanish as much as possible during lessons.

I use different resources to help my student depending on their needs and to make lessons dynamic, including materials from their school, books, presentations and websites.

I like to plan my lessons depending on the interests of my student, helping them most enjoy learning. I use efficient strategies to bring out the best in them and have the best possible results.
