About Miranda

I'm a native Spanish speaker and recent graduate of UC Davis. At UCD, I majored in Environmental Education, a program that I loved due to my long-time passion for teaching. Although I grew up speaking Spanish at home, I also took it in high school, reinforcing my reading and writing skills and eventually earning a 5 on the AP test.

In my free time, I like to work on crafts, listen to music, and watch whatever movies are in theaters!

About the lesson

Using techniques that worked for me as a student as well as a tutor in the past, I'm able to help middle and high school students with homework and assignments. I have over ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, and I use my skills to ensure that students learn material instead of simply memorizing.

I'm happy to work with students of any level, as well as be a conversation partner with anyone looking for practice.
