About Leo

Hello! I'm an experienced private tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. With two years of experience tutoring in Venezuela, I taught a variety of subjects including math, science, and art. I continued my passion for teaching while living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I helped students with their homework and prepared them for exams.

My love for travel and teaching led me to Thailand, where I worked in English camps to help students improve their conversational skills and pronunciation through immersive experiences.

Continuing with my travels through Asia, I had the opportunity to teach Vietnamese students in Hanoi through a homestay program, providing different classes throughout the day to ensure an immersive and well-rounded learning experience. I also had the pleasure of teaching Spanish grammar and conversation to students in Houston, Texas.

My diverse teaching background has given me a broad range of skills and techniques that I incorporate into my tutoring sessions. I'm dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment, where students can feel confident to ask questions, practice speaking, and improve their overall language proficiency.

As a tutor, I take great pride in establishing a rapport with my students, helping them set achievable goals, and watching them make progress. With my proven track record of success, professionalism, and commitment to student success, I'm confident I can help you achieve your language learning goals.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered and tailored to the specific needs and goals of each individual learner. I believe that every student learns differently and at their own pace, so I adapt my teaching method and techniques accordingly.

My teaching method is a combination of traditional and modern techniques, including interactive activities, games, and multimedia resources to keep the learning process engaging and fun. I also believe in a communicative approach, where the student is encouraged to practice speaking and listening in real-life situations from the very beginning.

A typical lesson plan starts with a review of previous material to ensure comprehension before moving on to new concepts. I prioritize active participation from my students, providing opportunities for them to practice speaking and listening skills through conversation and interactive exercises. I also incorporate grammar and vocabulary exercises, reading comprehension, and writing exercises to reinforce learning and improve overall language proficiency.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my dedication to creating a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters confidence and enthusiasm. I work hard to build a rapport with my students and establish trust, providing personalized feedback and encouragement throughout the learning process.

My lessons are for anyone looking to learn Spanish, regardless of their degree, level, or specificities. Whether you're a beginner just starting out or an advanced learner looking to perfect your skills, I can tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals.
