About Rafaela
My name is Rafaela and I am a proud native Spanish speaker who is eager to teach in a fun, innovative way. I have been told time and time again that I have infinite patience and a positive attitude no matter the weather, and I like to bring that optimism into learning environments. As someone who got 9 on her Spanish GCSEs and is predicted an A+ in her Spanish A-levels, I am confident in my skills as a Spanish speaker and as a tutor, and am always ready for a challenge!

I believe that a lesson should be tailor-made for each student, and that with enough practice anyone can master a language. My teaching method is student-led and interactive and aims to help my students master the 5 Cs of language learning and I use methods such as Socratic questioning, audiolingualism and content-based instruction for my lessons, which are typically an hour long. I have spent the past two years tutoring pupils from my secondary school in GCSE and A-level Spanish by my own accord, giving me plenty of experience in teaching Spanish for ages 13-17.
