About Alicia
I graduated in economics at University of Buenos Aires and I'm currently living in Italy because I wanted to have an experience abroad and practice (and learn) new languages. I'm playing field hockey and helping to spread that sport by teaching it in some schools. Since I was 18, while I was studying for my bachelor, I've taught English, Spanish for foreigners, Economy, Maths and Statistics, in a particular/private way and also as a professor collaborator.

Hi! I'm Alicia, from Argentina. I'm currently living in Italy improving my Italian and offering Spanish lessons for all levels. I'm doing a course to become a certified Spanish teacher as during the last years I've discovered I'm really passionate about teaching, specially languages!
I think that, when teaching a language, grammar is essential, because it allows us to speak correctly and not simply to make ourselves understood. It is also very important to get used to listening and talking. Then, my lessons can be structured in different ways depending on what the student needs. For example, if the student needs to know some basic things to make a trip, we will focus on everyday situations that may be encountered. On the other hand, if you want to prepare for an exam, we must be more rigorous and demanding, as well as having more complete lessons that include listening, conversation, writing, particular linguistic structures, etc. Therefore, I am flexible in terms of method and I adapt to needs and tastes, but always on a solid grammatical basis.
