About Angelo
I'm a professional IT consultant working in the field and who also loves teaching languages. I taught languages back home in Venezuela where I had the chance to teach kids, teens and adults, that helped me develop the skills to bring value to the people at different ages. I come from a family of educators which helped me understand being a languages instructor is not just talking in the language in front of the class but to offer them the tools and knowledge they can use to improve their skills in the language.
In 2010 I pursued a certification for Evaluation Instruments Design from a university in Colombia and then I started teaching workshops for other instructors know more about didactics and Pedagogy.

I like to start with ice-breakers and then I go on into knowing my students, each of them, that will help me determine how my students think and learn so that I can know what type of material to bring to class.
I like to make my class dynamic, encourage them to participate, helping them to stop thinking they could make silly questions and think that it's Ok to make mistakes in class and learn because that is why they're enrolled for.
