About Rodolfo
I am from Florianópolis in Brazil and have lived in the UK for 10 years!
I taught Portuguese for years at Cardiff University in the Modern Languages undergraduate programme and also designed and taught Portuguese lessons in the evening language programme at the university.
I also have 15 years teaching English as a foreign language in Brazil and in the UK, including at universities. Especially, I have extensive experience teaching Academic English to international students in UK universities.
I have a strong academic background and have published in the field of English Literature, including a book. I love languages, and have studied Polish, French, and Welsh. I was the first person ever to sit the UK citizenship test (necessary to become a UK citizen) in Welsh!

I will help you develop your confidence, fluency, and pronunciation in spoken Portuguese and will expose you to a wealth of Lusophone culture. I have a huge range of materials and can tailor the lesson to your preferences, focusing more on conversation, grammar, writing, etc.
