About Shuntian

My name is Shuntian, and I am currently an undergraduate student at the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). Beyond my passion for robotics and engineering, I am a native Mandarin speaker with a deep love for my language and culture.

I have extensive experience in one-on-one tutoring, which has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different learning speeds and personalities. My background in science means I am patient, detail-oriented, and excellent at breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps. I am committed to helping my students build confidence in their speaking abilities while providing a friendly and supportive environment for intellectual growth.

I am deeply passionate about science. My academic background in Robotics and my interest in Special Relativity allow me to offer more than just language tutoring. "As a Robotics major at ECUST, I bring a logical and structured approach to learning Mandarin. I hold a National Mandarin Certificate (PSC) and have achieved a CET-6 score of 610 (IELTS 7.0 equivalent), ensuring we can communicate fluently in English throughout our sessions.

My lessons are primarily one-on-one, tailored to your specific goals—whether you want to master daily conversation, prepare for HSK exams, or dive into technical Chinese for Physics, Chemistry, and Math. I focus on practical usage and correct pronunciation, using real-world examples to make complex grammar easy to understand. I have years of experience in private tutoring and enjoy sharing the cultural nuances behind the language."

Beyond standard conversation, I specifically invite students to explore STEM-related scientific topics with me. As a Robotics major, I can help you master the professional Chinese vocabulary used in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
