My teaching approach is patient, supportive and student‑centered. I focus on building confidence first, because I believe confidence is the key to successful language learning. I use clear, step‑by‑step explanations, simple examples and positive feedback to help students feel relaxed and willing to speak up. I gloss over small mistakes at the beginning to let students grasp the big picture, then gradually correct details to improve accuracy.
A typical lesson starts with a short warm‑up conversation or review. Then we focus on speaking, vocabulary or grammar based on the student’s goals. I use real‑life topics, interactive exercises and practical practice to make lessons useful and engaging. At the end, I summarize key points and give gentle encouragement.
What sets me apart is that I am a native Mandarin speaker and also experienced in language teaching. I understand the challenges learners face and know how to make lessons effective but not stressful. I can teach in English, Mandarin or French to support different learners. My lessons are flexible and can be scaled up or down depending on the student’s schedule and progress.
