About Leo
I’m a native Mandarin speaker with a friendly and easygoing personality. I also speak fluent English with experience living in the United States for over 6 years. I currently live in California and am very familiar with the challenges English speakers face when learning Chinese. I can clearly and accurately explain Chinese vocabulary, grammar, and cultural nuances in English, making lessons easier to understand and less frustrating.

My lessons focus on helping students from all levels to speak natural and confident Mandarin.
The teaching strategy will cover authentic expressions and cultural context to help students better understand real Chinese usage.
I will make study plans based on the student’s level and goals, from listening to reading; from speaking to writing.
Lesson content is flexible and designed around what each student wants to focus on.
