About ZI QIN
Hello! I'm a native Mandarin speaker from Singapore with a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Literature and over seven years of teaching experience. I have worked with children in an international preschool, helping them develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing Mandarin through engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
I am a patient, encouraging, and well-organized teacher who believes every student learns differently. My goal is to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

My lessons are student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner's goals, age, and proficiency level. I believe that language is best learned through meaningful communication, so I combine speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities in every lesson.
For young children, I use stories, songs, games, pictures, and hands-on activities to make learning Mandarin enjoyable and engaging. For teenagers and adults, I focus on practical conversations, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and real-life situations to help students build confidence in using Mandarin naturally.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, although shorter lessons (30–45 minutes) are available for younger children. At the beginning of our lessons, I assess each student's level and learning objectives before creating a personalized learning plan.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Literature and have more than seven years of teaching experience, including teaching Mandarin in an international preschool in Singapore. My classes are suitable for children, beginners, adult learners, and anyone interested in improving their Mandarin, whether for school, work, travel, or personal enrichment.
