I offer online Mandarin lessons for beginners, international learners and students preparing for GCSE Chinese. My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students identify their learning difficulties and guiding them to build understanding and confidence step by step, rather than relying on memorisation alone.
During lessons, I first work with students to understand their level, goals and areas of difficulty. I then guide them through structured practice to improve pronunciation, vocabulary and communication skills. When needed, I also suggest useful learning materials and additional practice to support their progress.
My approach combines clear explanations, practical speaking exercises and personalised learning plans based on each student’s needs. As a patient and supportive tutor, I encourage students to practise actively and become more confident and independent Mandarin learners.
