About Sofi
Hi, my name is Sofi. I was born and raised in Korea, and now live in Australia with my Korean Aussie husband.
Growing up, I was always into languages. Even though I can't speak them fluently, I've tried learning Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Spanish. The only language I can confidently speak in, besides my mother tongue, is English.
I truly enjoyed working as an English teacher at secondary school and online. Then that got me thinking... why not try teaching the language I love the most?
So here I am with a passionate and excited heart, to start my journey in teaching Korean. Wanna join to be a part of it?

I understand everyone has different goals and levels when it comes to learning a new language. I've also tried various methods to learn English, which taught me what works and what doesn't. That's why I focus on tailored curriculum for each student. Studying materials will include but not limited to basic Korean textbook, essential vocabulary, and grammar quiz. The typical length of a lesson will range from 45 minutes to an hour.

Perfect! Sofi is an amazing teacher! She is naturally good with children. And she is great at engaging with my 10 year old daughter. Her teaching method is great, in the trial session she covered the history and the vowels and consonants in the Korean language! And then my daughter got to write her own name in Korean. She was friendly, relaxed, and encouraging, and we are looking forward to more sessions with Sofi.
