About Irene
Hi, my name is Sejin. I was born and raised in Korea, in a city called ‘Goyang’, worked in the US and have been living in Vancouver, Canada for 5+ years. I’ve been trying to navigate myself between cultures for years, I know what it feels like to learn a language or the culture from scratch. I am not a professional language teacher, but I am a real Korean who loves sharing where I come from. The food, the culture, the music, the things not coming from textbooks. Throughout my career, I met a lot of people who love Korea and I found myself loving those conversations, so here I am. Becoming a Korean tutor. Whether you are worried about your trip to Seoul or want to understand what your favorite idol or actor is actually saying, you and I, we can do it together.
