About Don
I grew up in Korea and now live in Sydney, where I'm studying a Master of Teaching at UNSW. I also work with primary-aged children in out of school hours care.
I've been a language learner myself, so I know how it feels to understand far more than you can say. It's why I don't rush.
I'd rather you leave a lesson having said ten sentences out loud than having filled in twenty grammar exercises.

Online, one to one. We start with what you want Korean for: following a drama without subtitles, talking to family, travelling, or TOPIK.
Complete beginners start with Hangul, and most people can read it within two or three lessons.
I focus on speaking from the first lesson rather than a grammar book. We practise out loud, and I explain grammar when it becomes useful rather than before.
All levels, adults and teenagers, including Korean-Australians who want to read and write properly.
