About Mineko

Hi, my name is Mineko. I’m a native Japanese speaker and have been living in Australia for many years.

I have been teaching Japanese for around 13 years, working with students of different ages and levels, including high school students and adults.

I also have experience working in both primary and high schools in Australia, and I hold a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (LOTE – Japanese) in Australia, as well as a primary school teaching degree from Japan.

I’m friendly, patient and compassionate, and I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and comfortable. I always try to understand each student’s needs and learning style, and support them in reaching their goals at their own pace.

Whether you are learning Japanese for school, exams, travel, work, or simply because you love Japanese language and culture, I’d be happy to help.
