I am a native Japanese speaker, I’ve lived in Tokyo for 17 years, I went to Japanese local school. Imoved to Australia two years ago. I’ll graduate from a local high school in November.

About Kitty
I support a wide range of learners, from beginners who wish to learn hiragana to advanced students interested in kanji, idioms, and formal writing, including academic essays!
Lessons will primarily be conducted in Japanese, but feel free to request if you prefer them in English.
Due to my schedule, I can offer both in-person and online lessons until March, but from mid-March, lessons will be online only.

I teach Japanese tailored to each individual’s goals and proficiency level. Upon request, I can also provide learning reports and assign homework.
In addition to using the materials I prepare, I also welcome students who need tutoring for school Japanese classes or those learning Japanese as a hobby.
For learning materials, I use both commercially available books and textbooks, as well as customized materials to meet your specific needs. Upon request, I am happy to discuss with the student or their parents to provide the necessary materials or create a tailored learning plan.
While I generally prepare the materials, you are also welcome to bring your own, and I can tailor the lessons to fit them:)
