About Grazia

Who I am? I am a native Italian educator with a deep love for my language and culture. I hold a degree in Education Sciences (High Distinction) and I worked as a primary school teacher in Italy, but currently in Australia. In Italy my daily life is spent in the classroom, helping children discover the joy of learning, and I want to bring that same enthusiasm and professional expertise to my private students.

My journey with languages: I know exactly what it feels like to learn a new language. I speak English, but I also speak basic level of other languages (French, Spanish, German). I understand the challenges, the "aha!" moments, and the importance of having a patient guide by your side. This bilingual perspective allows me to explain the nuances of Italian grammar and syntax in a way that is clear and relatable for English speakers.

Why I teach Teaching is more than just a job for me; it’s a vocation. I chose to teach Italian because I believe that language is the ultimate bridge between cultures. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student—whether they are 6 or 60 years old—gain the confidence to express themselves in a new language.

My Pedagogical Approach As a qualified primary school teacher with a degree in Education, I don’t just "speak" Italian with you—I teach it using proven educational methodologies. I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to your specific goals, interests, and learning style.

What to expect from our sessions:

For Adults: We will focus on real-life communication. Whether you are learning for travel, work, or passion, we will dive into conversational practice from day one, supported by clear grammar explanations that actually make sense.

For Kids: Learning should be an adventure! I use storytelling, games, and interactive activities to keep young learners engaged while they build a solid foundation in the Italian language.
