About Emanuele

Born and raised in Verona, I’ve always had a deep passion for the Italian language, literature, and journalism. I began my career as a journalist, writing about art, literature, and lifestyle, before joining the University of Verona as a teaching associate, where I taught Italian language and modern history for six years. Later, I embraced an international experience and moved to Switzerland, where I taught Italian for foreigners at the Italian Consulate. That period inspired me to develop my teaching career further by opening my own language school, helping students from all backgrounds discover the beauty of the Italian language and culture. Now based in London, I continue to share my love for Italian with enthusiasm, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and interests.

About the lesson

50-Minute Italian Lesson Each lesson covers grammar, speaking, and listening, using real-life examples and cultural insights to make learning fun and dynamic. Topics are tailored to your interests, ensuring engaging and effective progress. All teaching materials are provided – no need to buy extra books! After every lesson, you’ll receive personalised notes and homework to help you review and improve. I offer exam preparation for PLIDA, CILS, and CELI (I’m a certified PLIDA examiner) and support for university entry and Italian literature studies. With over 10 years of experience teaching at Verona University, the Italian Consulate in Switzerland, and privately, I help students build confidence and fluency in Italian.

Rates Online lessons: £40 per 50-minute session In-person lessons (at your home or office): an additional £80 to cover travel time and expenses (up to 2 hours round trip) I’m happy to arrange lessons at your convenience — whether online or in person — to make learning Italian as comfortable and flexible as possible.
