About Maria

My name is Maria, nice to meet you! I'm from Naples, Italy. I love languages, both learning and teaching them! I understand the needs of a language student because I am one myself! In fact, in addition to Italian, I speak English, French, and a little Russian. I have been teaching Italian for two years, and I have a master's degree in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners, so in addition to my passion, I have a teaching approach supported by recent studies. I believe that traveling is the most wonderful thing in the world! I am currently in Italy, but my next destination is Australia! I often travel outside Italy and teach my language and culture to anyone who wants to. If you are also passionate about Italy, join me on this adventure!

About the lesson

My lessons generally last an hour or an hour and a half, but I am flexible about the length of lessons! My approach is relaxed and focused on the student's needs and preferences. I will provide the study materials and exercises myself. Don't hesitate to ask me what you would like to learn more about! I generally teach adults, from basic to advanced levels.

Perfect! I’ve been taking Italian lessons online with Maria. She is a wonderful Italian teacher, and I’m having such a great time! She’s friendly, cheerful, and creates such a warm atmosphere that makes learning feel enjoyable. One of the things I really appreciate is that she writes the words and phrases in the chat window, so I can follow along and easily review them later. She also sends me helpful exercises to complete at home, which reinforce what I’ve learned in class. Her lessons are fun, interactive, and effective—I’m definitely improving my Italian and look forward to each session! Highly recommend her!
