About Amelie

I have 2–3 years of tutoring experience, mainly working with children and teenagers, which has helped me develop a clear, supportive and motivating teaching style. I know how to recognize typical mistakes quickly and explain difficult topics in a simple and structured way — so students can improve step by step without feeling overwhelmed.

English has always been one of my strongest subjects. In my German Abitur, I chose English as my Leistungskurs (advanced-level subject) and achieved 14 out of 15 points, which reflects both my strong language skills and my academic experience with higher-level English.

In addition, I hold an IELTS certificate, which supports my ability to teach English professionally — whether you want to improve your speaking skills, strengthen grammar and vocabulary, or prepare for exam-style tasks.

One of my biggest strengths is pronunciation and speaking confidence: thanks to my time in the United States, I developed a clear American accent and gained a strong feeling for natural, authentic English. So if you want to improve your pronunciation, sound more fluent, or even work towards a natural American accent, I’d love to help you with that.

Conversation practice to build confidence and fluency

Grammar explained clearly (simple, understandable and step-by-step)

Vocabulary building with useful words and everyday expressions

Pronunciation support and speaking correction

Realistic exercises based on everyday situations, school topics or exam-style tasks

Feedback and correction in a supportive way so you can improve without feeling judged

I also hold an IELTS certificate, which helps me support students who want to work towards exams or strengthen their academic English.
