About Alexandra
I'm a native German speaker from Frankfurt with two years of experience as a German Teaching Assistant at Tufts University, where I've taught beginner and intermediate students. Being half German and half Bolivian, I grew up bilingual in German and Spanish, and I'm also proficient in French and Japanese. This multilingual background gives me unique insight into the language learning process and allows me to support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. I understand firsthand the challenges and strategies that work when acquiring a new language. My time at Tufts has equipped me with structured teaching experience while reinforcing my passion for making German accessible, relevant, and enjoyable for learners at all levels.
