About Sofya

French native with British roots through my mother, the use of both French and English has always been a part of my daily life. Beyond cultural openness, this bilingual background is a real asset when it comes to teaching languages.
It allows me to identify and understand the challenges and difficulties faced by non-native speakers during their learning and practice of French or English.
Language tutor since 2001, I worked with various language schools in France before setting up my own business in 2007.
I provide lessons for students and adults.
Over the years, I have developed the skills, expertise, flexibility, and confidence necessary for teaching French and English.
I offer personalised lessons tailored to the levels and needs of my clients while fostering a friendly relationship with learners to help them build confidence and improve their oral and written communication and comprehension skills.
