About Joannie
Bonjour,
I'm a native French speaker and have been teaching French for nearly two years now. I am a Law student who is passionate about teaching. I am happy to teach and help you progress in French either if you're a professional, a student or learning French out of interest. I can also help you with the pronunciation. I want to make sure that we find a learning style that is convenient for you and that will make your French learning experience both effective and fun! I can teach French to beginners as well as more advanced learners. I am aware that every student learns differently and responds to teaching methodology differently. Thus, the lessons will be conducted based on the student's needs, goals and interests. Each lesson will focus on a specific subject or theme. My approach usually focuses on trying to make the student speak as much French as possible but I have also conducted lessons centered on grammar, writing and reading in the past. It is a priority for me that the student feels comfortable and motivated during the lessons and I hope to make them as fun as possible!
As I studied law in French and have a Bachelor of Law degree, I have an extensive knowledge of legal French and can help law students or law professionals become fluent in legal French.
