About Irene
Focusing on the student, I tailor the pacing of our dialogue practice to match your specific needs. Since I hold a BA Music from McGill, I use lyrical structures to teach verb conjugation and sentence flow.
These 10 years of experience help me guide travelers and exam candidates through reading comprehension hurdles. We work on real conversations, not just static drills.

Growing up in Quebec, I naturally fell into the rhythm of the chanson tradition. Does the melody of a language matter as much as its grammar to you? My career spans 10 years of helping intermediate learners and kids navigate the complexities of French.
I lean heavily on Vigneault and Leloup to help students understand the soul of the language. My background includes 10 years of teaching travel French and exam prep for the DELF or DALF. I bridge the gap between textbook conjugation and the living speech of Montreal.
It is rewarding to see learners finally grasp the nuance of a native accent. I genuinely enjoy the process of watching students gain confidence in their writing skills.
