About Marie-Claude
French being my first language, I learned to speak English at 12 years old; how? By moving to an English speaking country and being completely immersed in the language: at school, socially, and everywhere around me (TV, radio, etc.) Fast forward to the present, after teaching in a classroom setting for 3 decades, I have seen the results of children learning and speaking a new language (French) within a year! The key, being completely immersed in the language. From personal experience, as well as teaching a second language, this is the fastest and easiest way to learn! It’s like moving to a new country, being completely surrounded, saturated and immersed in a new language, including daily listening / oral / reading practice and lessons, learning will happen very quickly! Before you know it, you will be able to hold conversations in French, due to the Immersion process and being able to practice daily - yes there is some homework too, with other students as well!

Targeting visual and auditory learners at once, short lessons, including videos, new vocabulary, oral and written practice, the focus is on daily listening, viewing, speaking, reading and writing activities.
