About Aurelie

I have been giving French lessons for 5 years privately and two years in a secondary school. I am from France but thanks to a university exchange program I did in 2016, I now live in Poland. I use the method myself to learn Polish, so I understand very well the difficulty of learning a new language and I will be very patient with you! I originally completed a five-year course of architecture study but when I arrived to Poland, I have been asked to teach and loved it since:)

About the lesson

In my courses I use the widely recognized "Direct method". This means that my classes focus on speaking, listening and writing (all in one book by level). I work using the controlled dialogue method, in which I ask questions based on previously introduced vocabulary and grammar. This way, you will actively participate in the course, even if you are a beginner! Additionally, practicing reading and speaking will allow you to master pronunciation :) I work with people of all ages and at all levels. Working with me, you will quickly see the effects of your work! The first minutes of the class are usually reserved for warm-ups (talking about the weather, etc.). The biggest part of the leçon is devoted to working on vocabulary, grammar and practicing it in dialogue situations. The last 10 minutes are devoted to writing. Thanks to these years of experience, I was able to test different learning practices and conclude that the "direct method" was the most structured and effective.
