Hi! I’m Barbara, a native French speaker currently based in Brisbane.
I offer personalized French lessons tailored to your goals, whether you want to improve your speaking skills, strengthen your grammar, prepare for exams, or simply feel more confident using French in everyday life.
I have experience in tutoring and enjoy making lessons interactive, clear and enjoyable. My approach is flexible and adapts to each student’s level and learning style, whether you are a beginner, a student, or an adult learner.
My goal is to help you progress naturally and gain confidence in both spoken and written French, in a supportive and relaxed environment.

My teaching approach is flexible, interactive and fully adapted to each student’s goals. I focus on communication first, helping students gain confidence in speaking French naturally, while also strengthening grammar, vocabulary and comprehension when needed.
I like to use a mix of conversation practice, real-life examples, and structured exercises depending on your level and objectives. My goal is always to make lessons engaging and practical, so you can actually use what you learn in real situations.
A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, but this can be adjusted depending on your needs and availability.
I have experience in tutoring and supporting students in language learning, and I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s pace, whether they are more visual, practical or conversational learners.
My lessons are suitable for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners — and for all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults who want to improve their French for school, work, travel or personal interest.
