About Jean-Claude
I am originally from Mauritius. I have worked as a teacher and a laboratory technician for over 20 years. I enjoy soccer, cycling and watching TV series. I love woodworking, kayaking and flying kites. I am very adaptable to changes.

I usually assess the student's strengths and difficulties with questions and simple exercises. These provide me with the information I need to find appropriate resources. As a teacher, I have gathered a variety of written and oral exercises and information to cater for various levels.
I adopt a friendly approach to encourage and challenge my students.
It is important to establish a level of trust. Students must feel relaxed and confident so that studying and learning is enjoyable and even exciting. We remember more when we have fun learning. It is serious fun!
