About Kilian

I am a native French speaker and an international student currently studying in the United States. My international experience has allowed me to study and live in different environments, including Texas, Illinois, and Scotland. This experience has helped me understand the challenges of learning and communicating in another language.

I am also a high-level student-athlete, which has taught me discipline, organization, consistency, and the importance of setting clear goals. I bring these qualities to my tutoring sessions and always try to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

French is my native language, and I have always had a strong academic background in it. I received grades of 18/20 and 19/20 in French on my French Baccalauréat. I understand both the academic side of French and the way the language is naturally spoken in everyday life.

Whether you are a complete beginner, a student preparing for a French class or exam, or someone who simply wants to become more comfortable speaking French, I will adapt my lessons to your level and personal goals. My aim is to help you improve while making the learning process clear, practical, and enjoyable.

About the lesson

As a native French speaker, I offer personalized French lessons adapted to each student's level, goals, and learning style. My goal is to make French easier to understand and enjoyable to practice, while helping students build confidence in real-life situations.

My teaching approach combines conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and practical exercises. I believe that learning a language should not only be about memorizing rules, but also about understanding how French is actually spoken and used.

A typical lesson begins with a short conversation to review previous material and identify areas that need improvement. We then work on a specific topic, such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or comprehension, followed by practical exercises and conversation. I finish each lesson with a quick review of what we learned and what the student should practice before the next session.

What sets me apart is that I can explain French from the perspective of a native speaker while adapting my explanations to the student's level. I can also help students understand the differences between classroom French and everyday French.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, students taking French classes, people preparing for exams, or anyone who wants to improve their speaking, writing, listening, or pronunciation skills.
