About Sami
I'm an 18-year-old with a rich blend of American and Moroccan heritage. I spent 8 formative years in Paris, France, where I was immersed in the French public school system and earned my Brevet des Collèges from Lycée Henri IV in 2021. After returning to the Bay Area, I continued my academic journey in the U.S., excelling in Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses, including scoring a 5 out of 5 on the AP test and 7 out of 7 on the IB test. I am currently studying at UC Berkeley, where I am eager to continue expanding my horizons and making an impact.

In my lessons, I would try to focus on your needs as a student. I would first start by testing your level in French to assess your spoken and written expression, as well as your listening and reading comprehension. I will then focus on getting you to the fluency and spontaneity in French that you seek
In my lessons, there would be a heavy emphasis on cultural learning. I will put an emphasis, regardless of your level, on literature, film, music, history, and French society. We will also explore the culture of Francophonie.
My lessons are meant for all ages, levels, and backgrounds with the French language. Together, we will explore the beauty of the French language and break its complexities.
These lessons should prepare you for any French certification exam or French standardized exam.
