About Josue
I’m a native French speaker from Montreal, with both Canadian and European French experience through my studies and family background. My entire education has been in French, including my degree in Economics from the University of Montreal, a fully French-speaking university.
I’ve spent over 30 years learning, speaking, and working in French, and I bring that same fluency into my lessons. I’ve helped friends improve their French, supported tutoring app projects, and also coached basketball, where I often helped players with their schoolwork and grades. On top of that, I work in data, analytics, and fintech, so I’m very comfortable with corporate communication, presentations, and helping people use French in more practical, professional settings.
My lessons are relaxed, practical, and conversation-heavy. I like to adapt to each student and focus on what they actually need, whether that’s speaking more naturally, improving grammar, building confidence, or using French in school or work. I can work with students of any level, both online and in person, including at the student’s home.

I focus on helping students use French in real situations, not just memorise rules. My lessons are relaxed, practical, and adapted to each student’s level and goals, whether that means building confidence in conversation, improving grammar, preparing for exams, or simply sounding more natural.
Because I’m a native French speaker from both Canadian and European French backgrounds, I can also help students understand different accents, expressions, and ways of speaking. I like to keep lessons clear and interactive, with a balance of speaking, listening, reading, and grammar when needed. My goal is to make students feel comfortable, progress steadily, and actually enjoy learning French.
