In 2017, I moved to the USA and settled right here in Novi, Michigan. As an entrepreneur, I bring a structured, results-oriented, and highly practical mindset to everything I do—including teaching French.My background is rooted in real-world communication. I understand firsthand the difference between the rigid, formal French taught in standard textbooks and the dynamic, rhythmic language actually spoken by locals. This native insight allows me to help my students bypass mechanical translation and start thinking directly in French.Over the years, I have successfully shared my language and culture with people of all ages and backgrounds. We will discuss current events, watch media clips, and build your confidence so you can handle any real-world interaction without freezing. For Travel & Vacation Prep: We target the essential linguistic survival kits. You will learn how to navigate restaurants, decipher train schedules, interact politely with locals, and handle emergencies with ease. You will step off the plane feeling like a traveler, not an anxious tourist.For High School & AP/IB Exam Prep: I provide highly focused, strategic support to elevate academic performance. We will reverse-engineer your school curriculum, sharpen your listening comprehension, and polish your free-response essays so you can secure a top score and earn college credit. Structure of a Standard 60-Minute Session:The First 10 Minutes: Warm-up conversation entirely in French to trigger your "language switch."The Core 35 Minutes: Targeted skill-building (analyzing an authentic article, practicing an exam prompt, or role-playing a travel scenario).The Final 15 Minutes: Accent corrections, vocabulary consolidation, and an actionable roadmap for your independent practice before our next meet-up.Whether we meet in a quiet, private study room at the Novi Public Library or connect online from the comfort of your home, you will walk away from every single session speaking more French than when you arrived!
