About Agathe
I'm a French and Belgian physiotherapist and strength coach, and I just moved to Calgary three weeks ago with my husband.
Raised between France and Belgium, languages have always been at the heart of my life. My grandfather is a Latin and Greek teacher, and we spent hours translating ancient texts together just for the fun of it. I also studied both languages for 6 years. That passion never left me. I also speak Dutch and Spanish, picked up through living in Mexico.
I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a French university, and recently scored a perfect 699/699 in French writing on Canada's official French proficiency test.
Outside of tutoring I work with patients and athletes, which has taught me patience, structure and how to explain complex things in simple ways. I've also been a tutor for 7 years and a sailing instructor back in France, teaching has always been a core part of who I am.
I believe everyone can reach a high level in French with the right guidance and regular practice. I'd love to help you get there.

I offer personalized French tutoring tailored to your goals, whether you're a child in French immersion, an adult learning conversational French, or a professional needing business French. I also offer Latin, Greek and etymology sessions, as well as exam preparation for DELF, TEF and TCF.
If you are a native Spanish or Dutch speaker, I can communicate with you in your mother tongue, no language barrier here :)
I do ask that you send me any relevant content in advance, this allows me to come fully prepared and make every session as efficient as possible for you.
Sessions are structured, engaging and adapted to your level. In-person in Calgary or online.
