About Khali
I am a warm, patient, and encouraging tutor with a naturally communicative and creative approach to teaching.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I have spent years working closely with people from many different backgrounds, cultures, and age groups, which has given me strong interpersonal skills and an intuitive understanding of how to help others feel comfortable and confident.
My teaching style is supportive, adaptable, and conversation-oriented. I believe people learn best when they feel relaxed, engaged, and no judgment. I enjoy helping students build not only their English skills, but also their confidence in expressing themselves naturally.
I work well with beginners who may feel nervous speaking English, as well as intermediate and advanced students looking to improve fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, or everyday communication. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing without fear of mistakes.
A typical lesson may include conversational practice, vocabulary building, pronunciation guidance, grammar support, reading exercises, listening activities, and real-life dialogue practice. I like to make lessons interactive, engaging, and practical so students can begin using English in real situations as quickly as possible. I also tailor lessons for travel, work, school, interviews, presentations, or casual conversation depending on the student’s needs.
