I tutor because I like helping people learn and understand new things. I make sure the environment is kept professional, and that privacy is always given. I adapt my teaching style to whoever I'm tutoring. Making sure everyone feels like they're in a comfortable learning environment is very important to me.

I don't agree with people who make others feel bad about not knowing, or understanding english. I don't use sarcastic or demeaning undertones when explaining mistakes. Everybody makes them, especially when learning something new.
Making sure anyone I tutor feels comfortable, and like they've actually learned something, is something I continually strive for. I do give individual work. In order to learn you have to practice. The amount of individual work depends on how frequent our sessions are.
